Do you think sad songs can help bring healing to a hurting and broken heart?
I do because i do not cry very often or very easily, it is hard for me to cry even when my heart is broken in many pieces, but sometimes when I hear a really really sad love song, or any really sad song, it feels like it helps to release the pain within my own heart.
That is why sometimes I like to listen to really sad songs,
Do you also like to listen to sad songs, and if you do have you found as I do that these types of songs can help bring relief to the sadness within your own heart, and help to bring healing to you?
Or am I just strange? lol

That is the word I was looking for these types of songs can make me feel refreshed, sort of like relieved that someone else has at one time or the other felt just as sad as I do at the present moment and was able to put that feeling into words and wash the pain away,
Thanks for helping me to remember the word I was looking for, and for responding to this discussion, hope you have a great day.

You are not strange. If that is what it takes to have a good cry now and then, there is nothing wrong or strange about that. I don't listen to sad songs much, but they sure can trigger the tear glands!
