Payments from ptc comes in packs?!

I am curious if you have noticed this interesting thing with the payouts from ptc sites. They seem to come in packs, I mean several at once! About three weeks ago I had payous pending from a few sites, and then I got three payouts in one day. After that there has been no more payouts at all, although I am adding requests from more sites every day. So now I have about 10 payouts pending or so. I am waiting for some of the payments, since they should be due, or already are overdue, but still there is nothing in my Alertpay or Paypal. So, I have a feeling that once they start coming there will be several at almost the same time! Have you noticed the same thing, do you get several payments in one go and then nothing for a while? Or do you get payouts more spread out?
