Do you like to go for long drives?

I love to go for long drives!!! It's so relaxing, romantic, and it's just a good time to either catch up discussions from a long week, or to just talk about yesteryears. Stoopid teenage stories, or romantic happenings, etc. It's even a good time to appreciate the small stuff. Keeping the mind simple. It's even a good time to take the kids and show them the realms of the country side. I still remember my parents taking us to this one bridge and my brother and I used to make fishing poles out of sticks and string. We never caught anything, but it was fun. We would even try to wade in the creek below, but mom would always have a fit. I was one of those little girls who love rocks. Still do. I would collect rocks, and even skip some in the creek. It was just a fun slow time with the family. We don't get the chance to do that anymore. Life is so busy.

Hi friend, i like long ride than drive. Last month me and friends went to kanyakumari. Oh it such a nice trip. We started our journey at 9pm and reached there at 4am. I really enjoyed that trip. In this trip we had 4 bikes. Thanks.

Hi ramyashreesk! I do love long rides and have enjoyed it with my husband and sometimes with my friends or family. But I don't think i will be enjoying long drives now especially if I will be the one who will be paying for the gas. haha.. Take care and God Bless!

yes i like to go for long drive with my friends. some time i like to go alone with noone not but myself. it helps me to think on few topic where i have to decide something. Few time i just go to relax in the lush green forest. yes i need to take care about animals.. thanks enjoy driving

I do enjoy going for rides with my fiance,because I love just driving alone when its just the two of us,even though I do not always like going on long drives,because I tend to get motion sick sometimes,and I have a bad habit of getting lost easily,and plus the way gas prices are right now,it costs a arm and a leg to fill up a tank,so we try to not do more driving then we need to.

My wife loves driving around the country, she really loves and enjoy the rides through country side. With windows down the fresh air is a tonic to her. However with the price of petrol, It seems we will soon have to take up bicycle tours.

We like to go for long drives. My husband and I drove all the way from Winnipeg to Saskatoon for the weekend, and when we are there, we drive all over the city. Also in Winnipeg, it is spread out so far so we will drive all the way to a shopping Mall on the other side of the city. And at other times, our church sometimes has a special at another church that is in another town and I will get a ride with someone there, because I cannot drive and I cannot afford my own car even if I could. Sometimes my husband and I will drive to visit his relatives who live in either British Columbia or Prince Edward Island and we will stay at the motels on the way, enjoy the food, and the scenery.

I always like to do long walks through campaings to relax admiring the wonders of nature: there is nothing better than this for m. Unfortunately there is insufficient time to do this more often.

I do not really like to go on long drives, I suffer with travel sickness and so it is not much fun for me to go for long journeys in a car! I think the only time I travel for a long time is when we are going away or out for the day somewhere. Usually that is with my family, but one of my children also suffers quite badly with travel sickness so we always have to take tablets before travelling!

hi ramyashreesk, yes i also like to go for long drive. the last time i and my friends (5 people) went to bali (the nice island beside our island) for our friend's wedding. that was a nice trip. it takes 25 hours one way. everybody got about 5 hours to drive. we really enjoyed it.

i think that it will be a great experience to go on a long drive with anyone you love, be it parents,girl friend,wife, or friends. i am looking forward to go on a long drive with my girlfriend in future (if i get one).
