Dear my lotters, it is true that sometimes fantasy and imagination can get away, but they can not get eveywhere. Today, one of my laps in the network of Internet I came across this site http://www.extremeironing.com which is dedicated to a sport very particular: the "Extreme Ironing". This site tells you that a certain Phil, passionate about rock climbing, one day returned home from work found a pile of clothes iron but did not want to. Yhen appy for the beautiful sunny day, in order to become more pleasant iron, joined this tedious task with his passion, rock climbing. From coast coupled was born the "Extreme Ironing". I would advise you to take a look because the images are very evocative. Some of you, friends, already knew this extreme sport? Or maybe already pratice this sport? It would be nice to read of experonce.

Hello zenith2007. Extreme ironing may just be one of the weirdest extreme sports I've ever seen! That is just crazy, ironing under water or while you are rock-climbing. I have always wanted to try to iron someone while I'm on my treadmill. Hmmm, there's an extreme sport waiting to happen. Take care and thanks for sharing this one.

Ironing Champion - Fastest Ironer. World Record.
When I started reading this I thought you were talking of speed ironing which believe it or not is a sport in and of itself. I don't know why someone would want to iron on the side of a cliff but hey all the best to 'em right? Thanks Zelo

A few times I have heard of sport that you say, that the speed of ironing boards did not know much about it. With regard to the extreme sport I believe that everyone is free to have fun as he like. Certainly I am not a guy who would do certain things: more than anything else for laziness.

I haven't tried that sport but I've seen it a couple of times. It's amazing how people can come up with different sports and competitions. Even simple things like ironing could be that complex and imaginative. I've seen some who iron upside down, or in peculiar places and positions. I agree though, it's nice to see people enjoy their unique passions. Some stunts are a bit impractical but they most of the time justify the word "extreme". see 'ya!

I agree with you, I prefer to stay to sleep rather than practicing this kind of sport. In truth I do not peace even normal sports. But fascinates me know that there are people who can do these things.

When I first started reading this I thought it was a joke. I went to your link here and it is a real sport. I find this very interesting. People can come up with all kinds of sports and competitions. I thought that this showed a lot of imagination on the part of who thought it up.

Me to early I thought of a joke but then having regard to all those pictures I realized that everything was true. Certainly this Mr Phil, inventor of this sport, had a lot of imagination to get this result.

This is so funny. I was looking at the snorkeling/ironing. What a hoot. I would have never dreamed of taking the ironing board with me while doing such a thing.

lol You post the most hilarious things!!! :) Where do you find them??!!! lol lol lol /No, I try to stay away from 'Extreme Ironing' - or, uhm, any ironing whatsoever. I prefer clothes that just don't need to be ironed :)/ BTW My sister claims she got 'into' ironing after she got addicted to Neopets & really mastered 'the mouse'... lol So... when you master Neopets, you can maybe master 'Extreme Ironing' better? :))) hmmmmm....!! :)

No it is difficult to find the things: just curiosity and a little patience
