If you are using IE 7 yes it now has tabs just like firefox does however IE7 is only available on xp and newer operating systems. If you use win2k or older you are out of luck.

Merrily as you can have the tab feature in the Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you have the seventh version of Microsoft Internet Explorer then it is by default that you will get those options. But if you have a previous version (Explorer then one thing which you can do is install Yahoo! toolbar. But the thing is if you ask me personally then I will suggest you to use the Internet Explorer because it is a very stable and powerful browser when you compare it with any other in turn it browser available on the Internet. Apart from that Features there are also many comfortable things which attended in the Firefox browser which are not at all the available in Microsoft Internet Explorer or any other browser.

I do not use IE much but for accessing some websites that offer IE only browsing. Unfortunately my ISP does not allow me to login to my account without IE. However, IE7+ has tabbed navigation. But those tabs do not look great.

Yes it does have a new tab feature, most browsers do now adays, otherwise you are stuck with the inconvenience of opening a new browser. Also if internet explorer didn't have a new tab button it would lose a lot of it's users.
