The Bible is "the Truth", and we are only capable of declaring it, not of defending it. That is God's job. Only He can provide the proof.

Yes, it is. If it isn't then you are born, you live your life and then you die and it doesn't matter if you believe it is true or not. But if it is true and you follow Gods commandments and accept Jesus as your savior then you will live forever. You might die first but someday you will live forever.

Yes It's true, I never question the Bibles' credibility, in fact you can find the answers to your unanswered question when you open it.

True? Humm, interesting question. I believe the Bible is a wonderful piece of history, that is mostly true, but told from the perspective of each of the individual writers of the different books, and therefore, the views are from their point of view, and thus, may differ from others who lived through that time.

I would have to agree. Apparently the basis of the book was written during travels so it's like a diary. But you can't get a perspective of a particular subject from just one point of view. I'm interested in reading the other versions of the bible that are out there.

Flavius Josephus is another historian who lived around the time of Christ. He collaborates much of what is written in the Bible.

Oh and of course as far as other versions of the Bible itself there are many to choose from. If you are interested a few that come to mind are The Living Bible, Revised Standard Edition, New International Version. This is just skimming the surface. If you want to know more you can add me as friend and PM me.

Bible is the faith of millions and billions of the people around the world. It is not proper to discuss the credentiality of such a popular religious book.

And why is it not proper to discuss it then?

Its false and its man made book. Some christian say that 'Jesus is son of God. Some say Jesus is God. Jesus die for our sin. Its book which has has not any clear guidance. I dont belive at all its concept of Jesus is son of God and die for our sin. or Jesus is God. Many people are leaving cristianity and accepting Islam and some of them go far astray and become Atheist. Its only myth. I am agree with Jesus and Mary. But the Book ( Injeel) which was revealed on him has been corrupted and totally changed.

Why do you avoid such topics? Are you afraid of what others might think? Could you get into trouble? And why is it not a forum to discuss such topics? Don't you believe in the freedom to speak what is on your mind? I am sorry if you don't enjoy that freedom TheOnlyOne but I sure am glad that most of us do!

If you believe in something it must be true, there is no other reason why you believe.

The answer would depend on which side of the fence you are standing. Of course hard core religious people will tell you that's its true, while those who oppose will surely question its credibility. There is no singular answer for this question. It's just a matter of faith, or should I say a matter of whatever faith you believe in.

Everybody thinks to be right: Christians and Jews think that the Bible is true, atheists think the contrary. I don't believe in the Bible, it's a book full of violence, blood, rapes, murders, massacres, etc., it's only a book of mythology like Homer, Virgilius, Ovidius, etc. The real problem is that some persons pretend that we must live according to the obligations by God, how is it possible that the Person who created the Universe, gave us moral obligations?
