We just got a new puppy! Any advice?

Last night we brought home Daisy, our new little yellow labrador retriever puppy. We haven't had a puppy in a very long time, and never had a puppy that will be a mostly indoor dog. (Our previous dogs were acquired as adults, already well trained.) We also have two indoor cats, who will adjust I am sure, though they're a bit put out right now. So, what's your best advice regarding new puppies, especially large breed puppies like our little Daisy?
