Jay and sanga are no more big threats to india and the new found fear of Mendis might be the one they are planning these days.It will be interesting to see how the experienced lot will handle Mendis.I guess Rahul got the right technique to handle Mendis than any other player and even sachin may face the hard test i guess.But after the test series finishes mendis will have tough time as he will be bowling to the likes of mahi,gowtham,sehwag,raina and yuvi.Well after many years this seems to be the most chanting series and only because of mendis.No cricketer has kept the same rythm through out his life like pathan,agarkar and many others and this is not just with INDIA but even Australians do have them like Tait and many others.Lets see how long Mendis will stay at lime light.He is considered the next muttaiah which is a good test now.Cheers MOIN

I hope i'm right but
Rahul Dravid do not have a good record against Muralitharan. He ahs score only one hundred against Srilanka and in that match Muralitharan was not playing... lets see how he plays Mendis... But Mendis at this moment has the upper hand..

Even Australians were having upper hand until the final where as ponting said they completed the best of three in only two matches but for disappointing result for ponting that INDIA won instead of Australia.So you can expect some thing but prioritize your expectation.Rahul is the only batsman who can play in any situation what ever the whether condition might be on that day,whether the pitch is assisting the batsmen or bowler or even its the last wicket of the innings.He is by far the best batsman INDIA is having in its ranks in test cricket.He is having the highest average compared to any other cricketer even sachin is a bit low on average when compared with rahul.So there's still something left in Rahul.Let's see how he performs in Srilanka.Cheers MOIN.

Do doubt its going to be Muttiah Muralitharan who is going to be the biggest threat to the indians in srilank. The fact that he as Anantha to give company will take the pressure of him and make him even more dangerous!

I think Muralitharan and mendis will be a big threat for India in test series. Most of the senior players haven't played against mendis, it's difficult to judge him. Murlitharan will always be a threat to any team while playing in srilanka. Sanath jayasurya, sangakkara and jayawardena will be threat in one day series.
