I have always loved the country I was born in and will probably die in. Though I may not agree with everything most of the politicians do or what we are really fighting with other countries over, I will continue to always support America and it's troops.
Just like many others (I assume), I would love to see the troops stationed over in Iraq back home with their families, but once again, the politicians and their agendas have created one big pickle of a mess and though we have tried to clean up after them, it's only making us Americans look worse in the eyes of other nations. We really aren't as stupid or selfish as we and others make us out to be, although I do think we do need to wizen up a bit when it comes to our elected officials.
Just my two cents worth!

As an American, I certainly support the troops. There are many young men and women losing their lives in Iraq. Even those who do not support the war should support the troops.

While I feel for the troops that are there, I do wish the politicians would pull their heads out of their butts and bring those soldiers home. We got rid of the dictator which is what we wanted all along. Time to leave the country to the Iraqis and let them figure out what's what.
There never will be total peace in the Middle East, so why should we continue to let our young men and women die? They signed up for the service to defend our country, not the rest of the world
