we have all heard that some people can change...but then again some cant right? so do you think that people who have been convicted of a crime should have trust from other people if they say that they have changed...do you think that you should trust them and take their words that they have changed or do you think that it is going to take some time to see that they have really changed...or...do you think that it kind of depends on what the crime was that they committed, i was just wondering what all of your honest opinions were on this subject and situation...thanks for reading my discussion!

In my opinion, I'd say it would depend on the kind of crime that was committed, the circumstances involved, and if it was intentional or premeditated, for you to determine if to give the person a chance to prove himself. if the crime was intentional, the chances are higher that the person will commit the same crime again. I dont really believe that anyone can truly be changed, unless they have found JESUS.

It would definitely dependent about anything actually. Of course, we'd be cautious on granting them our trust since they were convicted felons of society. It would definitely take some time before we can actually see and decide whether we could trust them again or not. Now, it would also depend on what you would trust them for if the gravity of the crime that they have committed would be considered. Would you go with a business deal with someone who was convicted of stealing large amounts of money in fake business deals that they were guilty of? Would you let them take care of your children if they were previously convicted of child molestation? Though it is unfair, some changes that people make would often determine how other people see them for the rest of their lives.

I think you need to give people a chance. I like to believe you can trust everybody but I know that you always cant trust everybody. I am certain that you cant trust people who talk behind your back and so forth. I think that the issue of whether someone has commited a crime, they might not have changed necessarily but they may have learned not to commit the crime again. I'm sure jail is a deterrent.

Everybody deserves a second chance. Some people do change while others are just pretending to earn your trust. Give them a chance but do not trust them like you did before. Let them prove to you that they have truly changed and that they are worthy of your trust.
