Awwww...a Baby Shower....

I was excited today, my family had a babyshower for my brother and his wife. Babies are fun...everybody likes to hold them and fuss all over them. Well we are finally getting a girl, all together I have 6 nephews. It was so exciting getting to buy stuff for a girl, I seen alot of pink clothes today...lol. Wouldn't you know that its my brother that would have the girl, he's the only brother I have, and I have 3 sisters. It was different buying girl clothes...She will be here on Aug. 18th, and we all can't wait to see her. It was a good day today, having all my family together, we all live apart from each other, I'm just glad that it was for a happy occasion, and not a sad one. It seems like that when family gets together its always for a sad occasion. I just wanted to share this with all my friends here at Mylot....Have a good day from a proud Auntie....

I agree with you.. It is really a joy when we get to meet our family members together after a long time, that too for a joyous occasion.

It sounds like a great day and congrats on finally getting a girl. We recently had a girl grandbaby and I gave my daughter the baby shower which was also an explosion of pink! Baby girls are so sweet. We have another girl up north that we don't get to see and another one on the way but that baby shower will have to wait. My stepson's fiance is having a problem with pressure on her optic nerves because of the weight gain and fluid buildup so they're doing an MRI on Monday and may have to take the baby early. Meanwhile, she's having vision problems and isn't up to a shower at this time so we'll wait until mom and baby girl are both home and then explode my house with pink once again.
