Hello to all Detroit Lions fans

I was born and raised in Detroit and grew up watching the Detroit Lions. We moved to the upper peninsula 28 years ago; and, I can't believe how many people here choose the Packers over the Lions. I always ask them why they don't follow their own state's team. Anyway, I am so happy to see some Lions fans on MyLot. Write and introduce yourselves. My name is Frances.

It amazes me too how many people up here seem to believe they are Cheeseheads. *sighs* We're not in Wisconsin, people.
I'm actually not from Michigan at all originally, but my husband is from around Cadillac and is a diehard Lions fan, and I grew up in Kentucky, so I didn't really have a team. And after watching with my hubby and learning about the players and the team's history, I've definitely become a real Lions fan myself, not just one by proxy.
Mmm, I'm Lecanis, and I'm in Houghton. :)

That's so cool. We are practically neighbors (lol). I'm in Calumet; originally from Detroit itself. Glad to have another Lions fan so close; those Packer Backers are everywhere. (lol)
