Yes. I've experience that before when I am still a newbie here. I sometimes feel disappointed if I do have a little response on my discussions..what I did is that, I read tips from the other mylotters on how to have many responses on my discussions. so as the day goes by, I know now how to be good here in mylot.. you should add many friends so that lots of people will see your discussions if ever you'll make one. and of course, your topic should be catchy and it should be interesting enough for us to respond.

I agree with you, but not just about the discussions. I agree fully that if we really want something, and if we set our minds to it, we can reach our goals. My goal in life is to get a great job and go to school for it. I'm still working on it, but I know I'll eventually get there with a lot of hard work. Thank you for that little burst of motivation. :)

Congratulations! I had that depressing experience too. Actually there are zero responses too until now. Anyway, I have a very positive attitude. So I don't easily give up. I just hang on and patiently wait until I see some hope. I use different strategies too to cope and go with the flow of any activity. So, just hang in there. Continue that industrious attitude you have. Every successful people pass through trials, boredom and no response too. Hehehe. Take care =)

Congrats for having so much of responses for ur discussion..yeah you are right, if we have the determination to achieve something and strive hard for that thing, we will definitely able to achieve our goal..i was not gud at studies earlier but i decided to become a software engineer, i studied with determination and now m able to achieve my goal and m a successful software engineer now..

Hi my friend, I know you joined MyLot not too long ago so you're still new at this MyLot thing. Just take one day at a time. I've been here about a month and some of my discussions I'll get alot of responses and others I will get no responses. Each day is different. I am like you, I get disappointed when I don't get any or very little response to my discussions, but there is not much you can do. Your idea of a great discussion may not interest many people. Another time, you'll hit the jackpot and you will get tons of responses. So just take it a day at a time and you'll be fine. Have a nice night, Char

I would say that you should just hang in there. You will get the results you want. It sounds like you are really getting somewhere now. Yes I have posted some discussions. I do get some responses here and there. I just keep responding and adding more points for myself. Hang in there, once again. You are doing great!
