As days go by, I've seen how little improvement we've made when it comes to writing. Instead of giving a pencil or pen to children, they're starting to give them the lap top in class! Many people have forgotten how to even write cursive. Way back, we've had so many languages. Hieroglyphics, for example. But where is that language now? We've buried it as the years went by, and now we want to excavate it again. Or even our own language! How many people today can barely speak and write English the proper way? I mean, we don't all speak it perfectly, but the words we used a couple of years ago are long gone, and have been replaced with others. So, tell me, do you possibly think that sooner than later, our writing, and our vocabulary will dissolve just like the rest of the languages?

I am left handed and my writting stinks. No matter which way you look at it. I have only run into one person who was able to read my writting. I have to tell you that even though I was properly taught that the fact that no one can read it is a real determent to my psychi. So, I LOVE computers and typing.
I agree that besides computer classes that the kids should be hand writting their notes. But not papers, handwritten papers annoy the heck out of me.
For language, that's just weird. I want to learn Japanese. That way is some idiot from across the boarder speaks spanish to me, I can speak Japanese back. *lol*
I actually don't think a second language is nessecary unless the kids might be going to another country. Otherwise, I don't think it's cool to just force them to do something they don't want to do.
