"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything They just make the most of everything that comes along their way" I think this clearly explains what happiness is all about.I am truly grateful for all that I am blessed with.I am a happy person. When I open my eyes every morning I tell myself that this is special.I believe everyday, every minute every breadth truly is a gift from God.I thank God for the blessings bestowed upon me.For the wealth, good health, fine friends, loving family,a comfortable place to live, fresh air, clean water, an abundance of food, nice clothing, reliable transportation and so on.I think when I am thankful that makes me a happy person.God Bless.Happy mylotting.Good Luck to you.

I think that happiness is a state of mind, also. I am by nature a happy person even during trying times I try to stay upbeat. Even though I feel it is a state of mind, that is not to say that someone cannot make you unhappy, because they can to a degree. Sometimes you just need to try to think outside of yourself and not about yourself to maintain control of your mental state. Oh yes, my children are the best thing that has ever happened to me and they can make me extremely happy. Although there are times when that is also the opposite..lol.
