I Hate To Shop! How About You?

I'm with you 100%, I do not shopping either. I especially hate going to the malls. I can never find anything I like, too many people. I usually do my shopping online. Now, I do not mind going to the grocery store. I have shopped at Aldi's a few times. No shopping is not my thing. I really can not remember the last time I went shopping. There is a second chance store near me, and that may be the last store I've been in.

You are not the only woman that hates shopping. I too hate it. I hate having to try to find a new dress even at the thrift stores. I'ed be happy if I could go every where in pants and tee shirts. I shop Aldies too. I really don't like to go grocery shopping ether. I wish I could send someone else to do that for me. I do like to look in some craft stores but usually don't buy much there. I think life would be a little easier if I did enjoy to shop sometimes.

I like shopping. I like shopping in stores, online and on qvc. Perhaps too much on qvc. lol. I like to take my time and look around. I hate when I am with someone who wants to go on a whirlwind tour and get out of the store so fast I don't even get to look at anything. I don't like to be rushed.

I really like shopping however I do not like it when I have no money. That is the only part that bothers me. When I have money though I am off on my shopping sprees. I still shop at places like Aldis and Costco though, because there is no point in going crazy with your money.

Your not the only one, I too hate to shop. The only time I shop is when I really need something in the desired store. My mom really likes shopping, this is why I hate going with her to malls. When she gets, she determined to buy at least one thing from every store. I never liked it and I never will, there's no real joy of shopping.

I am one of them kind of females too, I don't like to shop. I hate going to the grocery store, thats a job to me. I do my grocery shopping at Sav A Lot, its a store just like Aldi's but I think they are even better then Aldi's. They have fresh meats and they also have a meat cutter that works each day. You do have to bag your purchases. You buy bags or take your own. About the only kind of shopping I like is what I call "treasure hunting". Garage sales, thrift stores and flea markets, thats my kind of shopping. In fact thats what I did yesturday, I went to a couple of flea markets with my mom. It was a long day. I got up at 5 in the morning, left at 6, didn't get home until after 8 in the evening. I did the driving 350 miles worth, but we did have a good time. It was nice just getting out and spending the day with my mom. I just go a pair of clogs, my mom got what she was going for, so she was happy. I like looking at all the stuff and talking to the people and of course treasure hunting. Welcome back, its nice seeing you. No I don't either. Espically when it is hot like right now. I have never been big on shopping evern or new clothes. Of course I am on a tight budget so I have to be careful how I spend my money. At the same time even when I was a young girl I was not really big on shopping.

I don't say that I don't enjoy shopping, but it really depends. If I have money to buy what ever I see and like to have it, then I really enjoy shopping. But if I have to do window shopping, can not buy what I want to have because of the high price I don't like shopping at that point. Like you I also like to go for discount shopping or just go for 70% of sale.

well you are definitely not alone. i like to go to thrift stores and discount shops too. paying full price is just too much for me. shopping is only enjoyable when one has an infinite amount of money. looking at the price tags sends my heart pitter patter most of the times. finding a bargain can be really enjoyable. that's the main reason why i shop at discount shops. cheers ;p

You me right about that just like me saying that I might be the only man who enjoys it. For me I am more into bargin shopping, I love being able to find my favorite things on sale for a much cheaper price then what it should have been. I also like to show off all my new finds.

You're not the only one - I don't like to shop either, especially for clothes. I most recently have found a nice consignment shop where I can buy for about half what the stores charge for new. I don't like to spend any more money and things than I have to, and sometimes that requires some shopping around. I do feel good about it when it has meant that I've gotten a better deal.

You are not alone, i hate to shop. I don't get the fun in it and view it as a necessary evil. At the moment i need to go grocery shopping and i am putting it off. When i do go shopping i go to one store where i can get everything i need.

I don't enjoy shopping either.. what I hate most is standing in line to check out. The other day I went shopping at Walmart and went through the automated checker thing and it kept messing up and saying scan that item again.. or it would say something else and I was ready to cuss at it. I had to call a woman to put in the code 4 times to allow me to keep checking out. I do like going to thrift stores though.

Sadly village, I do enjoy shopping. I love to feel as though I have 'beat' the system though. Like you, I like to shop for bargains and refuse to buy things that aren't on sale in a regular store. I too love to shop at thrift stores and discount shops. I love second hand stores, they are the best! Someone decides that they don't like something (that they have hardly worn) and give it to the second hand store to consign. I come along and love the item and buy it for a fraction of its original cost. The donor gets a cut and the store gets a cut. I haven't had to go to the mall, the donor gets something for the item and the second store stays in business. All is well with the world. Ha!

You are not alone. I hate to shop. I get no joy out of it. The places I buy my cloths are thrift shops and goodwill stores. And if there is a crowd I just turn around and just leave. I can't stand lines. I don't like shopping at all. Period.

hi villageanne. You are not the only female in the world who doesn't enjoy shopping. I am the same about shopping. I would like to do all my shopping online, but it costs more than traditional grocery shopping. So I go to thrift stores and discount shops too. I think that frugality is a result of not enjoying shopping. I don't like to waste my money and time to shop all day. Have a nice day, jazgottt.

I enjoy shopping with my friends at weekends, but I usually don't buy anything, I'm their advisor. I prefer to have dinner, chat, KTV after shopping.

I enjoy shopping when I have budget for it. I don't go to expensive shops like others. The only thing with shopping is I get tired during the afternoon because I start when the shop opens.
