Calling all Labs!! Do you have Lab problems like this too??

Hello there all! I have two black labs. They are sisters. Their mannerisms are the same, but they are pretty different when it comes to their personalities. Our one dog's name is 'Princess Willie;. she is our athletic, energized lab. She loves to play and run and jump. Our other dog is 'Miller' She is our lazy, don't bother me dog. She sleeps all day practically and is our little baby. Well. They both are. But Miller especially is our trash compactor. She eats EVERYTHING. We're lucky she hasn't died yet due to all the socks she's eaten. She tears up towels and sheets. And she eats napkins, kleenex, and toilet paper. The toilet paper she will continually eat off the roll in the bathroom. Crazy huh? Here are a few more quarky things they do. Princess Willie loves to chase lights. if we shine a flashlight or laser pointer, she will chase it, just like a cat does. And Miller, (this is nasty) will recycle her own stools. Which I've heard might have something to do with lack of fiber? But im not sure I believe that. Over all they are great dogs. they just have interesting things about them. lol. Do your labs have any interesting characteristics like this?? I'm looking forward to hearing about them!

Our black lab is named Pearl, after the Black Pearl. (We fancy ourselves pirates) We're not sure how old she is, but she did eat a lot of socks when we first rescued her 3 years ago also. She preferred our kids socks, but tasted pantyhose at least one time that we know of. She definitely has our own personality. She is very lazy, so when it's bedtime (9:30ish) she walks towards the bedroom, and then keeps shooting us glances over her shoulder to see if we're following. She has this funny little dance she does when she either a) has to poop or b) someone she likes is coming to the door. I can hear her little nails tap dancing on the floor as she picks up one front leg then the other. And beg???? Boy does she beg!! Your dogs sound precious! Miller probably needs some vitamins in her diet. It's lacking something. That is one of the reasons they eat stool, but also, by the fact that she's eating everything else, she may need other vitamins. We give our dog dog food, but we also give her vegetables, raw meat (just a little) and a fish oil caplet daily. (It helps with hair and skin)

We have a black lab whose name is Shadow. He is huge, yet the thinks he is a lap dog. He is such a loving animal. He loves our grandchildren but sometimes he gets a little rough with his playing. He doesn't know how big and strong he is. He has knocked me over several times. And yes, when he was a puppy he chewed up anything in his path, including my shoes and the grandkids plastic toys. His favorite snack was toilet paper. :)
