I was reading about previous FIFA World Cups, and all of them had an artistic poster, logo and finally the mascot. Sometimes a cartoon character , a lion in 1966 for example, some gets popular and some dont. I just thought that when you come to see mylot you just see the name, nothing else. So what do you think, should there be a character to welcome you, that appears in all the pages, or not?

Yes that would be cool. Something like Homer! but I am sure that would cost mylot a fortune, so create it themselves! It should be something related to a writer, or editor, items like typewriter etc. Greay Idea!

I did graphic designing many years ago, so anyone who had some experience doing this would think up something fun and useful in no time. Design one yerself and send it to mylot, see what happenes

Indeed. I was thinking of using myself!!!! No I dont think so, anything smiling works for me, and it is based on communication, so I see it as being an item, with eyes and hands, from a typewriter to a pen... The site still looks quite bare dont you think?

Cheers, I mean yahoo uses the smiling yellow spheres all the time, but thats not a genuine character who you can relate to mylot. I am amazed they have done nothing about it, thats why it always look 2 dimensional and colourless.
