Your dream home

If you had all the money in the world what would your house look like and where would you have it? And what else would you do with the money?
I would have my home in England where I live right now :P it doesn't get too hot or cold (for me anyways). I'd have an ordinary house- not too big and not too small cause I don't want to make my wife work hard cleaning a mansion and with lot's of money you probably can't trust maids. Also, a mansion would attract hustlers, robbers, etc. (lol I like watching "the real hustle"?. Finally I'd probably go on holiday with my girlfriend and have a nice, long day- perhaps at a beautiful seaside or something
Sigh... hope my dreams come true some day O.O

You have a wife and a girlfriend? Maybe you mean a friend that is a girl. I already have my dream home. I live with my fiance and his parents, and he wants to stay here. I agree with him that this is a nice place, and his parents do not much mind as long as we do our share. We live out in the country, and it's so beautiful. We live across from a horse farm, and it's such a beautiful place really. I hope that you get your dream one day I appreciate the discussion (I was going to write something to this effect a few days prior) I hope that you have a wonderfully lovely day!

I know that fiance is hard to spell fiancee or fiance? I am not sure and the spellchecker says it's wrong!

I would buy the flat I rent from the council now and then buy another bigger home that I could then live in in a nicer area than I live now and then the flat I used to live in I could then rent out so I would always know I have money coming in every month.
My dream home would have a swimming pool but, that would probably be the only luxury I would want as I like to spend a lot of time in the garden so as long as the garden was big but not stupidly big I would be a happy woman!! x

My dream home is one level, it is small, with three bedroom and two bathrooms, and a back and front yard. My boyfriend and I would live in it and decorate it in a Japanese Anime and Comic Book type of style.

My boyfriend is really into Anime. I like some Animes, but not as much as he does. I am more of a comic book fan. I love "The Watchmen", "The Uncanny X-Men", "The Fantastic Four", and "Silver Surfer". I want a small house because I am used to a small house. I cannot live in a really big house.

i have thought about this ever since i could remember. growing up i moved place to place and with differnet people so i use to dream all the time about the house i wanted when i got older. now that i am older i dream of the house i wish i could have. i would want it up in the mountains some where. i dont care about what country or anything like that just out int eh middle of no where with no one around for miles but my husband and kids. i would want a 3 bedroom made out of wood. prefer logs. i would want a huge screened in porch that went all the way across the front of the house. when you walk in you go into a living room, straight back the kitchen to the side of the kitchen the dinning room. dont forget a bathroom off to the side of the living room too. then upstairs the kids rooms at the front of the house with a sharing bathroom. then the other side my room with a balcony off the back side to look down on the backyard with the garden in it. i want a simple house with lots of windows. an attic fan. no ac needed if you are out in the fresh air anyways. fireplace for heat. with the rest of my money i would start an animal shelter for unwanted or sick pets. not just dogs and cats but all animals. i would make sure my kids had money to go to school and not have to worry. i would just want enough for us to have food , bills covered, and a car that ran right that we all fit in. i dont care about big tvs, expensive cars, clothes etc. i would like to get my kids some jeans and shorts that werent someone elses first though.

If I had all the money in the world, I would want a house like that of Tiger Woods. Well maybe not as big as his actual house but maybe about half the size of that. I would like to have it in Vancouver, BC because I've always dreamt of going there. I would also perhaps have a few homes in other cities in Canada that I would like to be vacationing in.

I've pretty much got my dream house right now. I live in the U.S. in a beautiful state called Ohio. My house, the first I've ever bought, has 3 bedrooms upstairs, a nice front yard and fenced back yard for my two dogs. It's bright and cheerful inside, 85 years old, has a wonderful basement and an attic. And my very own garage! It's just the right size, plenty of room for when my sons visit or my brother or sister come. My mom stays with me about 4 months a year and has her own room. I love my house!
I hope you get your dream house someday soon!

I would have a huge ranch style home with log siding and 4 bedrooms all with their their own baths. It would be near a lake and have boats on the dock and a gazebo in the backyard overlooking the lake. I would have my own computer/office room complete with surround sound stereo and another room for a hot tub or a jacuzzi.
Would be nice and peaceful.

The beautiful house should not be far from the sea and hills. In our concept, the best place has water and moutains there.
and certainly, for the home, family is the most important. It's happniess to have a good family.
My dream home just in drem.i hope it will come true some day.lol

I would construct many factories in poor areas for those people to get employment, again I'll do farm plantations like planting tea plantations, coffe plantations, cocoa plantations, flower farms and others. And above all I'll use in fighting against three things that is poverty, foolishness and sickness.

It would sure be nice to have a lot of money! I'd just be happy to have enough to build a beautiful dream house with a nice play set in the back yard for my son to play in. A nice log cabin in a rustic atmosphere would sound nice. Somewhere out on a nice mountain overlooking the beautiful trees and other scenery. I'd love to have a nice garden where I could have a special landscaper maintain it regularly. It would also be nice to have another big house for when I travel to different places. A house for each trip!

My dream home would be on 13 acres of mostly pasture with some woods. It would be a big house. With a huge kitchen. I would have an indoor pool with a hot tub attatched. A theater room. I would also have a canning/craft house where I could do all the canning and do my crafts. I would have a huge garden. my house would have both solar and wind power but we would still be on the grid cause my kiln would have to be run. I would have rain barrels on each downspout from the gutters. And we would have well water too. We would be on the outskirts of a small town somewhere in GA or VA.

My home would be on a tropical island somewhere in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by sharks and the only way you can get there is to call me. I would have to send my helicopter for you and you would have to wear a blindfold so you could not get there on your own.
The home itself would be as open as I could make it, outdoors in and indoors out, hammocks, palm trees, soft ocean breezes and my own food sources - home grown animals and vegetable garden - watered by ocean water.
Clothes optional, all the beverages you could drink, no clocks, no schedules to keep, and the ability to go anywhere and do anything at anytime......
For now, I'll stay in my little 2 bedroom home in Podunk and dream.....thanks for the fantasy.

If I had enough resources my house would be big enough to have enough storage space for all of my and my daughter's bags, clothes, shoes, cosmetics and knick knacks, not to mention my hubby's important documents-which just keep accumulating everyday. But it will also be small enough that we will still see each other and spend quality moments together as a family. I like minimalism and would prefer the zen style as I hate clutters. It should be sleek and functional at the same time. With lots and lots of space!

If i had alot of money i would stay in the apartment i am in. i wouldnt go and flaunt my money around i would probably quit work and go to school full time so i can become a neo nadle nurse like i always wanted to become. Probably finally buy me a car so i can stop depending on other people. all the rest of the money i would put in savings so when i have kids they can have money for college so they wont have to strugle like im doing now.
