Just wondered if anybody else out there works from home like I do?
I am on a set rota or roster as some people say but, I have my office at home and get to spend the day at home with my dogs which I love. Sometimes it can be a bit boring if it's a quiet day but generally I like working from home - does anyone else work from home and what are your thoughts on it?

I work out of my home both online and going to different assignments. I like it becasue I have pets at home and I can monitor their behavior when I am home.
It would be nice to have some social interaction with people but the pets can be very companionable. I also am not spending money on gas when I am home so that's a plus.

Yes that is true - I used to work in the office and now I save quite a bit by not hhaving to fill the car up as often! I too love the dogs being there and they are enough company for me! lol x

I often wondered if I could work a Job from Home, and which one would suit..Whether self employed or teleworking..Both home and "Office" located jobs have advantages and disadvantages,I feel..Office banter, going for Lunch, versus not having to commute... tough call!

Yes I save loads of not having to top the car up with petrol as often so it is a big bonus! And sometimes when you have one of those days where you don't want to really talk to anybody wel I don't have to make small talk with colleagues so this is also a big plus! lol x

Personally, I would Love to work from home if I could make the type of money I make working for someone else. It would be so much easier to do with a lot less stress, but then I would have to worry about Medical Insurance, etc. as well. I know I do do some things online that bring me some Extra $$ each month, but none that make me near enough to just be able to stay at home all day. That is a definate dream of mine I have and would Love to see happen though.

Yes, I'm working at home and enjoying the flexibility of being able to work whenever I want to and as much as I want to. Of course, it's important to have self-discipline and to follow a daily routine....if your goal is to earn. Working as an independent on-line job agent, offers a number of different ways to earn money .... and takes a bit of time to learn which methods will produce the best results. I signed up Oct./07 and have definitely been kept busy and over all enjoy the freedom. However,I believe this is not for everyone .... Yo need to be self-motivated,persistent and patient if you hope to succeed.

It is true that you have to have some self motivation but for me I don't get to choose my hours! My rota is set and so are my lunch breaks so all I have to do eahc day thta I am due to work is log on the phone system at the set time and then log off for my breaks and at the end of my shift! Works out really well at at leat I know when I've done my shift I've finished for the day!

I do. Well, sort of. I don't have a large steady income coming in, but it's nice to have some extra cash. I do a lot of writing for companies and stuff. It's cool sometimes, but other times it can be a bit tedious. I like the quiet that it brings. And I get to use my writing skills to earn a living so I can't complain. It's all good, lol.

wow i really do envy you. i wish i can work from home but i can't. i got to report to office every weekday and work for straight nine hours. adding in the commute, it takes up half of a day already. i only have enough time left to eat and sleep. this is why i value weekends very much as it's the only time i get to spend with my family. hopefully one day i'll be able to work from home. this way i get to spend my time with my family and my cats. cheers ;p

Yes if I had to choose even though there are bad and good points of both I would always choose to work at home now as I like my own company and the tranquility of being at home! x

I wish I worked from home. I go to school online at home and love it! It is very boring but I get to spend more time with my hubby and my daughter. Being that I'm going into the profession of Education, it would be hard for me to make a difference if I always worked from home. I'm glad that it is working out for someone because I know that online jobs aren't for everyone.
Best wishes on your future endeavors!

Well the job that I do isn't online - it's selling holidays and my company just closed the office so I decided to work from home rather than commuting further than I used to and spending more petrol so it works out nicely as I spend less on petrol now and don't have to go out in bad wetaher to get to work - bonus all round!

Yes I work from home and I love it. I especially do well because I don't have to spend all sorts of money on gas these days.
Using my computer to make money has been the best decision I've made in a while. TO find out more about what I do just check it out at http://wowthatwaseasy.blogspot.com
