Hmmm cats are like that, I think they have a lot of pride and I think you have upset his pride, a friend of mines cat does exactly the same to her sometimes and i know what you are talking about when you say dirty look...they are dirty...

Oh, we had to do that to my Scootsie, as my husband was trying to get her butt in the tub, she was hissing and trying to bite him. We have another cat Jakie, who is always fighting Scootsie, but when heard his sister in distress, he started hissing and growling at my husband. It was so funny, just brothers and sister fight each other, but dare someone else fight them.
