My wife helped design hers and had it made. I haven't seen it yet (we're getting "married" for her family who'se never met me next month) .

We're really not planning our wedding yet, so I haven't put too much thought into my dress yet. I'm not planning to have a traditional wedding dress, though. I strongly suspect that my dress will be either white and black, red and black, or purple and black, probably wide stripes. (Sensing a theme here? :) ) My inclination at the moment is a sort of rockabilly style, with a very full, knee length skirt, but I'm not sure what I want the bodice to look like.

My hubby and I got married on Aug 17th, right in the middle of the hottest part of the year. My dress I think was a winter type but it's the kind I wanted for it was so pretty and very modest. It had long sleeves and a high neck and had some lace and it was all white with sequins but not to many and puffy sleeves at the top. Nothing really fancy but it was right pretty and pretty cheap.

Congrats on your wedding and your dress. Getting your dress in so exciting!!! I have been married now for four years, and LOVE the dress I wore. It was an ivory satin and lace sheath style dress. It was strapless, and was decorated with little pearls and what looked like little crystal at the top of the dress and on the bottom of it. It was a fitted dress and it showed off my figure. The gown had a detachable cathedral length train that was decorated also and it came with a matching belero jacket and purse. It was georgeous although I never wore the jacket. It was too hot.
