Categories for a blog

I've recently started a new blog. First of all, i need to add categories but i can only think of music,movie and books. I want it to be a good blog embracing major aspects of life. Now i am getting crazy racking my brain for more categories. I'm sure many of you have personal blogs, what do you suggest?

There is always the news, even the offbeat news stories are good. But, I have found with my blogs that it is best to write about the things that you care about. I have one for weird news, which I like to read anyway, one for my own life and my family, and one that covers baseball, primarily the Pittsburgh Pirates which is my hometown team. You should write about things that you love

Thank you for your advice. They really helps. I now add the offbeat news stories to my category. It's really something i like. And i'm thinking of more things that i'd like to share on my blog. It's currently under construction. I'd like you to take a look at it if you would. Have a nice day!
