"There are currently 1.6 billion overweight adults in the world, according to the World Health Organization. That number is projected to grow by 40% over the next 10 years." There is list that reflects the percentage of overweight adults aged 15 and over. In your opinion what is the worlds fattest country?? and where is the U.S. and Canada located on that list??

I think Canada and the U.S. are neck and neck in this. They both eat the wrong foods, eat fast foods and don't get out enough even for a walk. a lot of it has to do with our society after all both parents have to work now just to own a regular house. We don't have time to cook good meals, so we get fast foods quite often. I would love to go back to the days where one parent stayed at home, it doesn't have to be the woman, just the one who is the most capable with cooking, organizing, etc. Now the parents are both so tired, they don't have the energy or time for anything except getting ready for the next day. My Mother worked full-time and I remember the days she had off more then anything. The smell of cooking, the warm house, her greeting me after school. But she had to work or we would not have made it. Any how I got off the subject, a lot of kids sit in front of the T.V. eating while their parents work. Maybe if the Government took some of it's lunch, dinners, and even breakfast meetings money they could put it in after school programs for exercising. A half an hour would be better then nothing.

they eat both wrong foods but the US has a higher fat population above 15 years old. Canadians tend to moderate their bad foods where in the US fast food is every where....

The United States has the more obese people, in the southern states than anywhere else. Missippi is first and Tennessee is right behind them. I read an article on this the other day. We live in a small retirement community and most of the town is obese. Thin people here are the minority.
