I am now reading, Step on a Crack" by James Patterson. Wow, is this book good!

For all you James Patterson fans, have you read this book? It's great. But then, all his books are. For those of you who haven't tried James Patterson, he can sure weave a suspenseful tale. Let me know if you've read this book and what your opinion is about it.

Hey Pearl, No I haven't read it but I have heard of it and
was told that it is a great book. I have a friend and my
mom who absolutely love James Patterson. The both think
he is one of the best mystery writers and have read just
about every book that he has written. I still haven't
read anything by him but that's just me. I'm a kinda lazy
reader. I do love to read, it's just it takes alot to get
me started.

I agree with your mom and friend. James Patterson is truly one of the best writers out there. From the first or second sentence, I'm always hooked. I've read nearly every one of his books and they are just fantastic. Try one, you might love him, too.

I LOVED this book! I love Alex Cross but this was just as great!!!!
Just wait until you get to the end!!!
This is one of his best books. I hope they continue the character!
Enjoy, this one you do need to stay up and finish tonight!!! LOL

It was one of my fav books by him. He is an awesome writer. He has a web site where you can communicate with other Patterson fans. He comes on line to chat from time to time on his website. Right now I'm reading "Sail". I haven't read a book of his yet that I didn't like. On his web site they are talking about a new actor playing the role of Alex Cross in future movies. The word now is they think Morgan Freeman is to old to portray the character. I'm not sure if you saw the series "The Womens Murder Club" based on his books. If you haven't it's worth checking it out!

Yes, it was a great book. I definitely agree, he is just gifted when it comes to writing. Thank you for telling me about his website. I've never stopped in to see it but I ought to. I haven't read "Sail" yet, but I bet I'll like it. I, too, have so enjoyed each and every one of his books. I did see "The Women's Murder Club" series and it was good, I enjoyed it. Thank you for all the info. I like Morgan Freeman but wouldn't Denzel Washington make a fantastic Alex Cross???? Take care.

There is a lot of information about his up coming books on his web site. You can interact with other fans as well. I must say over all it's a great site.
Denzel Washington would make a great Alex Cross however.......I would like to see Shemar Moore who plays Derek Morgan on Criminal Minds play the role of Alex. I think it would be refreshing to see someone like him portray Alex. It would be tough not seeing Morgan Freeman play the role though. When I read books with alex in them I always hear Morgan's voice.

I agree with you, James Patterson is awesome! Once I start reading one of his books, I just can't quit. I try not to start them in the evening, as I want to stay up all night! Talk about page-turners!
