anyone out there play age of empires?

My husband plays video games all the time with his family (they live in another state) and its their way of bonding. He plays different games with them, but he asked if I wanted to learn a game to play with him, so we could have something that he and I play together. For those of you who don't know Age of empires is a game where you build a civilization, farms, castles, knights, tons of different stuff and then you go and try to kill your opponents civilation while they try to kill you. I actually found it pretty fun. My husband always trys to get me into stuff that he is into so we can do it together. I had never watched football before, then he got me into it. Now I am such a football fanatic. But hey I make him watch chick flicks with me, so its okay. Just curious if anyone else out there plays this game?

Yeah I did play Age of Empires..Its a fantastic game to me.I used to play for hours together..It never ends, and I always feel it thrilling and enthusiastic.Its not just fun playing this game but it gives some knowledge also..Like it teaches you about resource management,how to develop our selfs etc..,There are many others who love this game along with you and me..Have fun..!!!Enjoy your gaming..!!!

Thanks! i love it! I've been playing more and more with my husband and i think its a great game. very time consuming though but definately worth it. Thanks for responding.

I did play Age of Empires at one time but didn't make it very far, I guess. My armies were all destroyed!! 
It's really nice to hear how your husband makes you interested in whatever he's doing so that you never feel left out, neglected. On the other hand, he also takes interest in whatever you like, so he seems to be a very liberal person. 
I'll remember to be such a nice person to my wife when I'm finally married. I'll also advise you to try a hand at racing games like Need for Speed. Your hubby must, of course, be knowing about this game. Ask him to show it to you. It's really a great racing series. Do reply. Cheers.

Thank you so much for responding! Actually, my husband was really good at letting me keep up, until I really get the hang of it then he'll probably kick my butt. LOL Yeah, he's a very sweet guy. I'll look into that Need for Speed game. My husband loves racing games (if that' what it is). It sounds like it would be a fun game. Have a great day!
