How many friends?

How many friends do you have? DO you have many friends or just one or two? Do you stay in close touch with them or just talk to them every once in a while?
I have a couple of friends but not a lot. My best friend moved to Florida so we try to stay in touch because we live in different states.
I don't click with too many people. Do you?
My sister is the total opposite from me, she has a bunch of friends and she is always going out doing things with them.
So how about you?

Hi o2bnocn,
I have many friends but I develop to have more when I was in College..I was very shy in High School and end up having only few friends but I have in contact only with less than 10 of them..
In College and in my 3 past workplaces, I have so much friends...We are in contact still over yahoo or chikka since we are very far from each other..LOL!
I love to be around with all of them...I have a group of married one, single friends!

I've always been told that it's not how many friends
you have it's how good of friends they are. You don't
need to have alot of friends, you just need to have
friends that are real. That's the tough part. You can
have people that are acquaintances that you see occasionally,
maybe hang out with but don't really consider them friends.
Friends are the people that you can count on to always
be there when times are tough and you need them. That is
the true test of friendship. I have friends that have been
in my life for years that don't live in the same state as
I do anymore, but I know if I need them they would be there
for me. Friendship is not to be taken lightly, it is a serious
committment.

I do have many friends but I have only very few intimate friends. I have more than ten friends but I have only about 3 intimate friends.
