Are you scared of talking about illegal things online?

I recently posted a discussion that involved an illegal activity, and no one replied to it, even though it was a resonable thing to talk about. I believe that my discussion got no responses because people are scared of the man, and don't even feel like they have the right to freedom of speech to say what they want to say whenever you want to say it. What do you think? Are you scared of speaking your opinion about illegal activities?
