Any idea? My friends tell me that no matter how much weight they lose, they can't seem to smooth out the tiny lumps of fat on their thighs. Is it true?

If you want to lose fat from your thighs and hips, you need to do cardio, cardio, and more cardio while targeting that area with specific strength training exercises. To lose weight on your thighs and hips, you will need to lose weight. The best way to drop fat is to moderate your diet and get moving. You need to do some cardio, You should get 30 minutes of exercise a day, even if it is only walking the dog. To really burn off fat, however, you need to do intervals three times a week at with least 24 hours rest between. I have two favorite workouts, one for 20 minutes, and one for 30. You can do intervals outide, or on a treadmill, bike, or elliptical machine. 20 Minute Intervals: 2 minute warm up at an easy pace 1 minute medium level 1 minute slightly faster 1 minute slightly faster 1 minute working out just under the max repeat those 4 minutes another three times, and at the end of your very last minute 1 minute at max pace 1 minute easy pace *you will need to do ten more minutes of exercise to make a full thirty minutes, such as taking a walk 30 Minute Intervals: 5 minute warm up easy pace 1 minute medium level 1 minute slightly faster 1 minute slightly faster repeat those three minutes another six times 4 minutes cool down easy pace Now as i said this requires diet and exercise. . .without both there will be no results. And remember that results are not instant, they take time and hard work. GOOD LUCK!

I think it could be true in some cases. It all depends on the persons body type and weight also. It can also depend on the type of exercise they are doing also. I would suggest riding an exercise bike or using a treadmill if possible. that willl help to burn fat off of the legs and calve area. A star stepper or climber also works well for that.
