My first rubiks was actually from my ex-hubby..a 3x3x3 and I tried solving it until I decided to cheat and planned to remove the stickers and put it to the right spot. My boyfriend Neil taught me how to solve the 3x3x3 rubiks...it took me probably 2months before I finally learned the techniques and patterns..then after learning it..started timing myself.;p..Then when I was in the office I saw this 5x5x5 rubiks..I wanted to have one..when we celebrated our 20th monthsary Neil bought me 5x5x5 and search the net on how to solve it.It was hard at first..then I left the 5x5x5 at home to my surprise neil was able to solve it and taught me the patterns..I love rubiks a lot. When I don't receive any calls at the office rubiks keeps me busy..I am glad that I can solve it. I thought only genious people can solve it or people with high I.Q. But I don't believe it now.Even a regular person can solve it..you just have to be patient and put in mind that you can solve it..just learn the pattern and technique and you'll be surprise you have all the colors in the right places..Try it...it's fun...ciao.;p

no, but, my b/f's got one, and he took it apart, and solved it that way. after that, he solved it not taking it apart. he's solved it like that many times, and wanted to try taking it apaprt, to see if he can solve it. i think that it's neat that he can take it apart. i never seen anybody take them apart before, and i told him this, and he said that he learn this from school when he was in school. i think that it's neat though. :D

I learned to solve the 3x3 with some help, but then I went for the 4x4 and after weeks of working on it, I solved without looking at any solution. Probably my method is not the fastest, but I was so happy that I did it without help. I still need to find the time to go for the 5x5. Cheers
