Option for deleting discussions

Do you think myLot should give its members the ability to delete their own discussions? I ask because if you started a discussion and it didn't get any responses, you technically can't start another discussion on the same topic. I would rather delete the original and start a new discussion. Also, time differences in the world is another factor. So posting at different times will get a different amount of responses. What do you think?

I agree here. I suppose they have the rule so as to rate us better, becuase if we are starting discussions with no responses then they are able to rate us on it.
Sometimes though I start a discussion and afterwards I reread it and think, it is not very interesting and I could improve on it, or I find another interest that it would have been better going under to get more response.
Also it does make me wonder how many discussions are on this site unresponded to, and probably cluttering up the site. I suppose they can be added to if someone searches for something and the discussion comes up, but in general it seems that the non active ones get pushed out of sight and out of mind.

Yes,I agree that Mylot should give such an option . The existing Method is to send a Mail to Mylot (Through ContactUs Link ) and send the URL of the discussions to be deleted .
However;this takes time and is cumbersome too.
A direct option would be much more welcome .

There is no such option for deleting the discussion.Because the discusion which we post remains longer as long as one year and so mylot doesn't allow any discusion to be deleted.I dont know why.But it doesn't allows us to do so.the reason which i have given may be one but dont know exactly why it doesn't allows.
