Like only expensive and perfect meal, Problems???

My girlfriend likes to eat a lot,but thanks god she is not fat!I love her so much. Her mum always tell me that she doesn't like to eat her food and insult her food sometimes. Her mum scold her every times she does like this. I wanted to know your opinions concerning this case. What must her mum and my girlfriend do in this case?
Another thing also that my girlfriend prefer to stay hungry but will not eat the food if it is not that good.I can understand her and i promised her that after marriage i will give her only good foods. But for the time being what can be done. I mean there are still 3 to 4 years for us to marry.
What can be done guys??thanks for your replies in advance

When I was living with my mother, she had one simple rule about meals: If I didn't like what she was making, then I could simply cook my own meal instead. Perhaps, your girlfriend could either make her own meals sometimes or even just cook what she likes for both her and her mother?
