Advice on how to help

I recently learned a close relative just found out she has breast cancer. At this point they are doing a bone scan and other tests to see how far it has spread. She is scared to dealt and has said so. I would love advice from those who have dealt with similar or was one with the diagnosis on what is the best way to support loved one with this diagnosis? I keep offering to be there when ever needed or what ever needed, I keep saying I am available anytime of day or even at night if she needs to go for coffee or talk. I just feel I am not doing enough or not doing the right thing to support her. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks and God Bless
