It's good that you have learnt something from Amway though you have not seen any success! Well, for me, I have been in it for more than 1 year to no results too. But I do enjoy the promotions that come with it. That's about it. Hehe! Which MLM did you made your fortune in??

Hi friend, Well Amway is actually part of Multi-Level Marketing and also part of the Direct Sales Network. The community consist of likewise distributors who are in the Amway business. It is not for everybody as the going gets tough and not many people can take the pressure of trying to combine 40 years of working into just 5 years to earn a residual income. As what others always says, the bitterness before the sweetness. We work much harder than anybody else in this business, but we know that once our business gets stabilished, we would be sitting back and enjoying the fruits of our labour. Perhapes you can have a look at this website to get more information of what we are doing (PRivate Franchising Business), and the products that we have.. (http://www.amway2u.com/) Perhapes you will be interested in the business opportunity or you might just turn out to be my customer! Who knows? PM me for further details if you are interested to know more about this. I don't mind sharing it with you as life is all about sharing. Well, take care my friend and have a nice day!

There is definately money to be earned in Multi-Level marketing, but it will take lots of determination and hard work. Sometimes, it's even more tougher to earn the money in MLM, as compared to a full-time job drawing a regular and fixed salary. However, like what we always say, the bitterness before the sweetness. We combined 40 years of regular working into just 1 year, and enjoy the fruits of our labour when our team gets up and running. That's the beauty of MLM, but a lot of newbies will give up in the first few months as they are not seeing the cash fast enough. That being said, of course MLM is not for everybody. Personally I enjoy myself in MLM because I love doing sales. Lol, that is why after so many years, I am not successful as I don't do recruiting at all, so it's a one man's effort on my side. But, then that's me. I don't like to follow the system, instead I prefer doing it my own way. Nope, I don't attend the lessons every Wednesday at Tanjong Pagar. Were you part of the Britt system too? Or part of other systems? I did in fact attended the function twice at there, and 1 major one at Le Meriden, but then I realised that it was just a waste of my time and money as I almost everytime fell asleep after 10 minutes of listening. I prefer reading, rather than attending all these functions. So, I am on their mailing list for the recommended list of books to read. And I must say that I learn more from the books than the function. Of course there are others like my upline who prefers the function and listening to the CDs. It all boils down to your learning style. Is there a need for capital to be in Amway? Lol, I must say that I am a bit confused by that statement as for my group in Britt, we don't need any capital at all, but rather buy what we need from ourselves rather than from other departmental stores, and that is how I do my Amway business. I guess you must be from the other group which focus on the investment strategy. Those who are in that group rises very fast and change their pin level fast, people in my group rises slowly (my upline is in this for 4 years, but only at the 12% mark, me is in it for close to 1 year, but always at 3% as I don't do recruitment, and do only sales at present moment). But, our foundation and groupings is very stable as we learn along the way. Well, like I say to each their own. Some people join and stay in it because of the education, some because they like the products and want to get them at distributor price, some because they want financial freedom in 5-10 years.. and the list goes on. Nice to hear that you were from Amway too!! Have a nice day!

Yeah, MLM is a hard work, but it brings in cash real fast and especially when it has become a trusted brand.. it's just like running your own business whereby the initial part is hard as we need to promote and push our products to others.. But once that works, everything becomes easy as consumers will be looking for u instead, and the turnover is very fast too ^_^ What i mean by capital is that, we need to buy the products to use, test them out b4 we can really promote them, so as to have good sales ^_^ As for the lessons i attend at tanjong pagar, it's more like introducing of new products every week, and also motivation speech made by the top salesman.. As for seminars all that, i have never attended them as i think it's a waste of time and money.. lol But now, i'm no longer part of amway because i quitted from there ^_^ hehe

Why did you quit from there? Lol, from the way you describe your training sessions, I think you are from a different system altogether. What you had just say describes the very traditional MLM systems where they focus on the 3S - Selling, Sharing and Sponsoring. I came from Britt where education of the mind and education of pysocolgy is the more common topic that is used in training. Somehow or rather, I don't remember products being mentioned in the trainings that I had attended so far No matter what we do for a living, so long as we are not getting a fixed salary for it, we are considered self-employed which means to say we must start thinking like a businessman. And in any business, an investment (capital) is always neccessary. But I don't think of it that way. Lol, afterall most of the products which I am buying from Amway are 'anyway money', money that I have to spend anyway.. So in no way it's capital as if I don't buy from Amway, I would still have to buy from the supermarkets, and in that way it's just benefiting the supermarkets of Singapore and in turn lining our government with more money! I agree with you. Initially, I have no customers at all. But funnily, I had not went out to do sales too, but my customer base had grown! What I did was just to make it known to everyone that I am doing Amway, and somehow or rather, I had people coming to me to buy things from me. Lol, and the reasons that they gave me was that they like Amway products, but just that they cannot buy it as they are not members. Thus, they were looking for a distributor, and by chance they came across my name from a friend of a friend. And so it goes..
