I've been reading "The Luck Factor" by Prof. Richard Wiseman, and truly it inspires me a lot. In the book, the author simply suggests that luck can be learned and changed by doing four basic principles, and luck is not something that we get when we're born. In other words, nobody is born lucky or unlucky. I just wonder if you could advise some good and worth-reading motivational/self-help books and share some points in the book. thx a lot..

I would recommend anything by Louise Hay, and that is just a start. I shall sort you out some more titles, once my laptop has recharged! She has a great book call 'The Power of Positive Thinking' and it a book you can read cover to cover or just dip in. I unfortunately lent my copy out and it has gone in a move since, but I would pick it up again. :)

Ok here are some of her books, some of which I have read and some I haven't but I am sure they are all great and very inspirational, judging by what I have read already of hers. : You can heal your life 365 daily affirmations Power thoughts Meditations for personal healing 101 Power thoughts Receiving prosperity Dissolving barriers: Discover your subconcious blocks to love, health and a powerful self image Everyday positive thinking The power is within you What I beleive and deep relaxation Inner wisdom Stress Free life: reflections on your journey hope these are useful to you. There are many other self help style books I have read by other authors too, that once I remember the titles I shall let you know. Happy reading and positive thinking! :)

Maybe you can look at Dr Phil's books, I've never seen any of them, but that's all I can think of. Right now I am reading something on overcoming passive-aggresiveness.
