Chicken wings of course! We just got about 100 wings in three flavors and it got me thinking. At my house, my daughter likes the honey bbq. My boyfriend likes the hottest you can get. I like mine spicy but can't quite take the hottest.
What level of hot do you like?
Do you use ranch or blue cheese?
Do you eat celery with it?
I use Ranch and celery. And of course I prefer beer to drink! It's been a great weekend!

How 'hot' people like their chicken is very much a cultural thing. I remember passing through Louisiana with my wife and stopping at a restaruant where we ordered 'Hot-spicy' chicken. It was so 'hot' it made our stomachs ache. Of course, we commented about this to each other. A waitress overheard us and I overheard her commenting to her friend how unbelievable it was that we did not like their great chicken.
Some people just like it too 'hot'. We do not.

I'd be with your daughter having the honey bbq. As I get older, the less I can stand the heat. I used to be able to eat them pretty spicy, but now, mild seems too hot! Heck, give me the blue cheese and celery and you can take the wings!

I love wings! I can't taste anything but heat with the super hot wings (a limitation of my taste buds, I guess), so I prefer them hot, but not really, really hot, so that I can taste the sauce, too. I can eat the ranch sauce, but it's really all about the blue cheese, for me! Since I hate celery, I never eat it with mine. Yum! Maybe we'll do wings tonight!

I don't particularly care for chicken wings, there really is not much to them. I do not eat the skin of chicken, so after I remove that, there is only a small amount of meat left. Then you have to contend with the black veins, I do not eat those, so eating a chicken wing for me is very messy, removing the skin, removing the veins. I rather not bother.
But I know a lot of people who love chicken wings, my mother for example Happy eating

I too love wings. I actually prefer to make mine at home as I like them "wet" and spicy. I am like you I like them spicy but not to point that my nose is running and my tongue is burning. My kid loves them too. My favorites to make at home are buffalo and lemon pepper. Its really, quick and simple. Since you don't have to thaw the wings before cooking, if ever I havent planned something for dinner we can always do those at the spur of the moment. I like ranch dressing. I often do celery or a salad.

I don't like BBQ flavours but I do like chicken wings, I don't use any sauce with them and I don't spice them either. My stomache can't digest hot foods so that's not an option . So I guess I like them plain .

hi laglen!
i like it cooked with soy sauce, cooked until tender, that is. when fried, i like making them into lollipops, which means gathering all the meat on one side, dipping it in batter and frying it. oohhhh, i love it! my mouth is watering...yum!!! yum!!!
hehehe i haven't done that for a long time now. so i miss it soooo much! hehehe i don't really like it fried per se, because i want to eat the fleshy part full of skin! hehehe the way i like chicken wings!! :)
good day and God bless you! :)
take care!

chicken wings! they are one of my favourites. i like it steamed, fried, grilled and any other way you can think of doing it. i like them anywhere any time too. the three flavours mentioned are all good for me. i can take spicy food but not bhut jolokia spicy. bhut jolokia is the hottest chili in the world by the way. i've not tried cheese with my chicken wings though. maybe i'll try it one day, soon. cheers ;p

wow that sounds like my kind of dressing. Blue cheese salad dressing must be really good with chicken wings. I shall check out the shelved of the supermarket tomorrow. Hopefully I can find it there. Thanks for the detailed explanation. Cheers ;p

I like medium heat. Even my wife complained about not drinking Tea/Coffee in Hot. She used to tell me what is the use of drinking after it become cold.
But I prefer the mild or medium heat in almost all items.

I like chicken wings and I like them spicy. To prepare them I would marinate with ginger and oyster sauce for few hours. Then, I would from them in deep oil. Slice cucumber and tomatoes. Arrange them in a plate. Eat them with tomato sauce or chilli souce. So everyone has choice whether to eat them hot or not. You can solve everybody's problem.
