Most of us, exercise more caution or worry only about there WEIGHT.. it is as if the height is normal. And we indulge in all sort of weight reduction activities, more and more articles we see for weight reduction.. but only a handful in connection with the height.. Are you satisfied with your height.. and ever thought that a few inches would be better..!! I am satisfied with my Height and i am 5'7" ,the average height of an Indian. Cheers. Saivenkat.

Although i am the smallest (height) female on both sides of my family and get jokes from time to time, i have never had the desire for extra height ( only when i am at the store and need something from a high shelf), I am 4ยด11 not the average size but nothing to complain about i am satisfied with my height.

I am 5'4 and every one is taller than me except my really young grandkids. I am forever needing help to reach something and now I worry if I stand on a stool I might fall and break a bone because of my age and getting older. So yeah being short is not always good.

haha.. Weight can be controlled and lsoe it as and when we like it, but not height.. Because there's only a certain period of time whereby we will grow tall only, and after which, we wun grow anymore, but we can become shorter instead.. lol =D As for me, i'm very short, only 5'4".. lol =D Even some gals are taller than me, but i have to accept the fact that i cant grow any taller.. haha

hi saiven! i used to worry about my height. i thought i was small because i have a lot of friends taller than me and i am the smallest in our family. even our youngest sister is taller than me. but there's this chart in a clinic that shows the relationship of weight and height and who is obese and who is anorexic. i saw in that chart that my height is normal for my weight. i am neither small nor tall. just right. so then, i don't worry about my height that is when i think about my weight. ^__^;; i still get bothered sometimes when i think that i am the smallest in the family. sometimes i wish too that i am taller so i can wear those long jeans in the malls and so that i can reach stuffs placed at high places and so that i can reach the clothesline without jumping when i'm hanging clothes.

Then and now, I was more worried of my height rather than my weight. Honestly, I am a chubby and petite person. Since I feel that I'm healthy, I don't really care much about my excess weight as long as I don't get sick. But sometimes, I also feel concerned about it because I'm beginning to feel stressed out and I easily get tired now. My height is a little below five feet and when I was in high school, I felt that it became stagnant since then. This affected me quite a bit because I wanted to take up a course in Pharmacy. Unfortunately, there was a height requirement then which is above my height. So I was left with no choice but to delete this course from my options. But even if this is the case, I never tried to purchase 'growth balls' because I was afraid of the rumored negative side effects. You're lucky enough not to have this problem, I would say.

No! One of my mantra is this quote "You don't have to reach up to my height as long as you reach up to my standards" and that is all that matters to me

I wish I was shorter, not taller. But there is nothing I can do about it. I can't go on a diet and lose my height the way I can lose the weight. Big difference is I can't control my height but I can control my weight. I used to be 5'10 1/2" tall and for a lady that is tall. But over the last two years or so, since I have been going through menopause, I have shrunk some. I am now only 5'7" tall and since I shrank that much my doctor was concerned and sent me for bone density tests and everything is okay, thank goodness. But even at 5'7" I have a problem with getting pants that are long enough for me. I have to go to specialty stores to buy my pants and I have to pay way too much for them. At least I can still buy jeans that are long enough, at regular stores, but when it comes to dress slacks, no way can I buy them at a regular store. So when I go buy slacks I have to go to Tall Girls and pay $100 for slacks that anybody else could buy for $20 at a regular store. It really makes me mad. So yes, I wish I was about 2 inches shorter, or at least my legs were 2" shorter.

I am 5'8 so I've never really been concerned with my height. My daughter, who is currently 5'7 at 16 is though. She drives me crazy because she's always calling herself short and it annoys me. She's not happy with anything about herself, but she's in no way short although she tends to think she is. She can't seem to tell me what would be a good height though either. I think she just likes to complain.

Just five foot five here which is small for a man,so yep I would like to be a little taaler, but thats only because I have to ask for help to reach things in the supermarkets lol if the missus aint with me,she is a couple of inches taller than me,then ive no other option I hsave to ask a shop assistant to help me reach. The supermarkets have good ways of marketing things and they always put the more expensive goods at the bottom, ready to hand,so the cheaper brands are higher up,they know what there up to mind you.

Well, I have always been very Happy with my height. As a woman, I am definately a little taller than most, but I feel just right. I am 5'9 1/2" I am even an inch taller than my husband which actually does not bother either of us. As for weight, that is a different story, but it would be nice to be a little more proportianate for sure.

Height isn't really something that can be controlled, it is always completely natural whereas weight can be altered so it makes more sense to try to control or change that. My family think I am short. Well, I am quite short but not really short. I am also overweight but I like to think that I am not overweight but undertall.:) I am happy with my height really just as long as I can reach things!

I have been always worried about my height, because I am no taller than 168CM. I was afraid that girls would not fall in love with me. But I was wrong. I don't need to worry about my height because girls attach most importance to boys' ability but not height. Now I have found my love and I want to tell all the mans worrying their height: improve your ability and became a virtuous man, then you can neglect your height!

Well I think heights is something that should be paid careful attention to. Obviously not as much as weight but it should still be taken into consideration. I know heights if often hereditary, but lots of short people I know eat junk food way too much and don't get adequate sleep. It tends to be the opposite for tall people. Height still isn't as important as weight, and being short can't kill you...
