Doesn't the earnings seem to go much slower when you are close to payout?

I am so irritated right now.. Or maybe irritated is not the right word, I don't know. I am so close to payout on several sites, but it seems to go so, so slow to get those last 50, 40, 30 cents! Of course I know it goes exactly as fast as all the other days, but it seems so just the week or so before reaching that lovely moment when one can request. Every day I log on thinking, now my referrals have clicked and when I click I will have enough - and that is never the case. When I register to new sites, on the other hand, the first few dollars seems to go really, really fast, I always think that this will go fast, in no time I'll reach payout. Yeah, right!
I am so close to payout on so many sites. The worst one was today when I am 2 cents of requesting, 2 cents!! I have no referrals either so I have to nicely wait a whole other day for the ads to reset and me requesting. It is no fun!
Have you noticed this, how fast the earning goes in the beginning and how hard it is to get those last cents before reaching the payout minimum?

i dont know if you accept this idea but i think and i beleive on this one...that it is a excitement that slows down the process, the adrenaline that it brings is the reason..
this is not only for pay out but even to simple or usual things in out lives...exampple the payday...when it is just couple of hours b4 the payday the hours seems longer feels like we are waiting long enough or the clock might not workign properly, this is also the same on hours b4 weekends...
so bottom line, just continue to do what you do best and you will be surprise on the outcome get the excitement manageable hehehe..

I am absolutely certain that you are right in your explanation! It is like that with everything isn't it, before going on holiday the days cannot go any slower than they are etc. I guess that is what excitement does to a person :) Thank you for your input!

Yea, theres this survey website (globaltestmarket) that I have been with for four years and had my points forfeited because I didnt redeem them in the time necessary so this year I am 20 points away from my fifty dollars and I am looking forward to that pay because I lost out on so many of my other points.

oh, really? hope you could get more comments from experienced persons. i did not have this experience, but i do hope mylot would be fair, and i also believe that. anyway, earning is not the most important reason to attract me here. i also want to improve my english and my typing speed.
by the way, hope you could receive your earning from mylot soon.

I understand EXACTLY what you are saying. I will compare it to a road trip. The first part of the trip goes fast, but as you get closer to your destination, it seems that your car slows to a turtle pace.
It will come. I know you have patience, but it gets tough sometimes.

I've noticed that as well, since I'm getting closer and closer to my very first payout here on myLot. I'm looking forward to seeing that money get put to good use, haha. So I'm impatient about waiting for it to be ready for me already. Ah well.
