How much sleep do you need to feel rested??

It really weird. If I go to sleep earlier or later it really does not make a difference. If I wake up on my own I feel most rested than if an alarm wakes me up. If I take a 1 hour nap during the day , I get more out of that 1 hour than i would from the entire nights worth of sleep. It takes me about 10 minutes in the morning to feel like I have woken up. I just hate that feeling of wanting to go back to sleep and not being able to. Its like I feel like i need toothpicks in my eyes to keep them up and from closing. 1 hour vs 8 isn't it just amazing , do you feel the same way???

Hi, Rzelikman. I need at least 8 or 9 hours of sleep to feel well rested. If I don't get this much of sleep, my body will be desperately tired. I agree with you, my eyes are so dry when I wake up in the mornings. I have to rub them because I can't keep them open. That is how tired I am when I will wake up.

I just need at least 6 hours of good night sleep and everything will be fine the whole tomorrow. I keep my self busy during the day so I will not have that bed time feeling. KEEP SMILING = NEIL

I need 7 hours of sleep. 6 and I feel tired all day. If I try for 8, I wont make it, my body will wake up. I'm stuck with 7, always 7.
