To err is human, to forgive is divine....Do you think you would be able to forgive the murderer of your loved one? Why or why not?

That is a really tough question to answer but, I think that with time I would forgive that person. I have had 2 relatives murdered in the past year. I just wasn't that close to them. I was closer to one of them and the other, I didn't know her. She lived up state so we never met. I still mourned the loss of my family and tried to support my aunt as I could.

I'm sure that means a lot to your aunt.Losing someone is difficult especially through an appalling murder. It's just so difficult to accept but time eventually heals all wounds. Thanks for your response!

I would hope I could. Mainly because forgiveness is for ME...if I could forgive that, it would mean that I could let it go. I believe that it is our "Maker's" job to deal with them, but it is up to me to forgive if I want peace.
