How organized are you?

I mean, physically. Is your home, office, garage, shed organized? How do you maintain it?
I am so unorganized. Every so often I go through and organize, I implement a new system or try something different. I always tell myself 'this time I will keep up with it.' I get ideas from books, magazines and shows I watch on HG TV. But no matter what I do, before long it all falls apart. Within weeks (sometimes even days) my desk is just a big mass of papers and who knows what else. Same thing with my garage and kitchen. Same thing everywhere.
So where do I go wrong? Those of you who manage to stay organized-- any tips to share?

I'm unorganized too, which i s why I started a blog about clutter. It helps me stay relatively organized and keep my bad habits in check.

I am also very disorganized to the point where I am always very stressed about where to put things. I enjoy going to very organized shops to enjoy the clarity of space and not having to think about where to put things. Every single thing that comes into my residence stresses me out and 99% of the time,I do not know where to put it and it ends up in a little bag in a closet. I like your idea about a clutter blog. I will look for it.

I try to stay organized...a place for everything and everything..at least in the right room. Sometimes I have a hard time because I'm around long enough to make a mess or sleep then off again.
I make a point of putting clothing away and mail in the right spot and dishes in the sink or cupboards....dvds in the case. its the little bits i ahve a hard time with. Containers and cases make a big difference on how i keep things clean.

i am a semi-organized person.i don't know.it's just that at work, i don't wanna work when my desk is dirty and papers are a mess..before i do things, i settle things first. i always balance my time. i see to it that i have time for everything. so far, it's been fine with me and i have done my job well-on time and sometimes, before due..
