I bought into Welwind (WWEI) when it was really cheap. It's still really really cheap, but it's gone up a TON since I got it.
I'm hoping to see it really take off.
I'm also keeping an eye on some other alternative energy stocks like WNEA, AWNE, and a few that haven't gone public yet like Coskata and Mascoma.
What are you all into?

I actually have oil and refining stock. I was thinking I would eventually invest in the alternative energy stock. This might be the time to get it though becasue
it will probably become more expensive as it gets more popular. Besides that I think the oil companies may get penalized at some point for profiteering. I think it's time as a good stock will be limited. I'm sure I will get alternative energy stock soon.

The wind stock I have right now is waiting for their PPA (power purchase agreement) to go through. It's been slightly delayed bc of the flooding in China, but should go through in August.
Essentially, it's a guaranteed income for the stock. They expect the share price to jump up to 60 cents (which is just outrageous for those who bought in at 4 cents).
It dropped again yesterday, so I'm hoping to get another hundred dollars or so (all I can afford at the moment) at 11 cents or lower.
If it jumps up to 60 cents, every single dollar I invested will be turned into six dollars.. which is absolutely incredible.
