Which is better Mac or Pc?

Its my nephew's birthday in a couple of days and he is turning 14. I am debating whether to get him a mac or a pc. He already has a mac, but its pretty old. So therefore I was thinking what the heck!Let me suprise him with new imac since he loves playing with mine. The problem is he loves playing video games as well and im not sure if i should spend my money on somehing he will eventually get bored of.

Hey dear MAc is meant for artists and developers not for daily users and gamers.
Is has great potential to work for creative people, its potential and your money would be wasted if you go for it.
It's quite expensive, however if you buy a pc a great assembled PC you can boost out with A GREAT MEAN MACHINE. Assemble a good nice pc with great features and gift it, it will be really good for him.
If you don't know what actually pc means of assembling it, what are features then give me the type of pc you want and I will suggest you.
I ill give you all tips and tricks.
Type means application, gaming , normal , home use, etc. Tell me whichever you want and I will suggest the best.

You get him what he likes, be it a mac or pc. But pc supports lot of games and thats what he must be interested in

I used PC all along , and I am very happy with it, emails, work programs, and playing games online too.
