My new Canon G9

I just bought a new Canon G9 digital camera and just love it. It is very compact for the power of the camera. I have spent the last couple of days playing with it and took this shot tonight using ISO of 400. I stopped the car and took the shot out the window. I had the IS on but I was amazed at the quality and color of the photo. This is a great camera for the person who wants to have control over the camera and something that is easy to carry around.

Hey Bob, I just bought a CANON Digi also. I got a Powershot a590IS 8mp with a case, 2)2gig cards and screen shield delivered for just under $250. I am just in the messing around stage (3 THREE instruction books) But I went to Walgreens with the card and got some prints made and I was AMAZED at the pictures!!I even blew one up to 8x10 and it was stunning! I haven't downloaded the software yet (that's the second instruction book =) so I don't have any Pix to post but they will be coming soon!!

I have a Canon A530 and it is a great little camera that I let my Grand daughters use. One of the great features of the Canon A series is you can go from point and shoot and let the camera figure everything out to using you creative talents and having fun with the camera. Great resolution and color and now with the IS you have a greater range of shooting. Good luck and enjoy your camera.

Oh yeah BTW great shot!! Sunsets are not as easy to shoot as they look.

hello there! i am a fan of Canon cameras but until now, i haven't got any digital camera. I am waiting for a friend who is right now in japan to come home and bring my much awaited Canon digital camera. May i ask the price? Hope its OK with you. What a beautiful shot you got. Wow, amazing picture and you didn't even use a tripod. This picture would make a great desktop wallpaper. Best of luck with your new camera.
