what kind of puppy should i buy if i want a loyal dog that likes to lick?

Sorry to hear about the loss of your doggy. I can't imagine losing my beautiful Bella. She is an Australian Shepherd and she has been SO loyal to me, and she loooooves to lick! Especially when I get done working out and I'm all sweaty. She will basically give me a shower if I let her, gross huh?! I had another Aussie when I was growing up and she was equally as affection. I think it's definitely something in the breed. But I think any kind of dog you get, no matter the breed can be affectionate just the way you want it. It just depends on how socializing you are with it when it is a little puppy. The more love and affection you show it when it's in weeks of age, the more it will turn to you for loyalty and affection.

I am sorry, i feel for you. I also have a dog with me for over 10yrs and he passed away 2 yrs ago... Last year i got one again, his name is maxxie a maltese 1 yr old dog. He's very cute and affectionate, i just so love him! ill share you a pic :)
