Should you have to be black to be a good rapper?

hey i am really against the thought to bring the concept of race in music u know eminem he is a real good example for this fact

Hey, I believe music and singing are not ones possession. A person with interest and passion irrespective of their color, background, etc can become very popular. Also Eminem grew up in black community. Blacks do have that natural advantage from their peers and fore fathers who were good rappers and musicians.

Of course it's not the race that affects the skill and the voice of a rapper. It's just that, black people in my opinion make it big due to their life, they always got to say somthing about their lives so they have more flow and inspiration. Eminem is one of the greatest rappers, and it's not black, this is crystal clear that race is not a barrier.

no. i've heard and seen a lot of non-black rappers. there are go latino, asian, and white rappers. i think race doesn't affect the skill level of a rapper. experiences may differ but ultimately it's how rappers develop their skill and flow and not the color of their skin that determines how good they will be.
