while solving 3x3x3 rubik .. i recorded my best time as 5 mins.
But the way I solve it, I found that some time its on how it is mixed up.
Means sometime all the moves comed handy and the cube get solved early.
And as a joke, if the solved cube is just once twisted and told to solve may just take a second or two.....LOL.

I've never been good at doing the rubiks cube. I am not a spatially oriented person.
I think it would probalby take me months to solve it. I have seen them on tv kind of break the cube apart to solve it. I dont now if I will ever be able to do this cube.

Welcome to mylot.
I used to enjoy doing the rubik's cube, but this was a long time ago. I had got addicted to it as well, always trying to improve my time. I took part in a few competitions as well. I remember my personal best record as well it was 1min 11 sec. I don't see myself reaching anywhere close to that today.
All the best and have a good day.

My Dad had one when I was a kid. I'm 25 now and in all those years I don't think I've even managed so much as to get one side right! I'm really impressed by people that can do it, I just don't understand how!
