Most of us are pirate users, do wanna try to stop being one?

Most people use MS Windows and applications running on in. And almost everyone as at least once installed a software without a licence.
This happens because it's very easy to do with internet access or with some CD borrowed from a friend.
BUT, if you want to be legal and served with great software, you should consider trying a Linux based distribution.
My advice is: UBUNTU!!!
Ubuntu is free and if you have an internet conection you can install all kind of software that is also free.
So, if did not try this yet, I'de like to know WHY?!!!
Is it because you did not know of it? Do you think is complicated? Is it because you like to be an outlaw?
Tell me your opinion and I tell my solution :))
By the way, I use ubuntu for 18 months and I LOVE IT!!

well,before reading this discussion itself i've planned to use ubuntu...Besides, do you know why people are using pirated softwares????
its just because of their cost...A GENUINE WINDOWS VISTA COSTS Rs.12000...WITH THAT IF YOU ADD SOME MORE MONEY,U CAN EVEN BUY A COMPUTER ITSELF...

First of all people use Microsoft products because of agressive marketing used by MS. Software like Windows and office are knowned all over the word and thats why people used at first. Bur the cost of MS software is too much for the regular user, so they ask a friend for a cd or download stuff from internet. But things are changing and many user and enterprises are chosing to use Linux and open source software. Ubuntu is the first linux based operation system that I use for long time. Before ubuntu I tryed others and because I am laisy i give up to learn how to work with it. Ubuntu is diferent! It's user friendly and has over 17.000 programs listed in a repository that you can download according to your needs, and the best of all: ITS FREE!
Another thing that i love about open source like ubuntu is the concept that the knowlege belong to Humanity and not to the companies.

i like to be a bad girl, 
that is my reason for not changing from what i use hehehehe..
it would be too impossible for me to be totally good girl.. too much to expect haha,, can get films, games, music, applications, utilities and why not, if can i will haha
