What was your first cellphone unit?

As the the thread title implies, what was the first cellphone unit that you have personally owned? Was it a gift from your parents or anybody else or was it produced because of your hard-earned money? How old are you back then (or you can just state the year e.x 1998). What did you with it afterwards? What line/cellular service were you using back then?I'm going to start.
I first personally owned Nokie 3310 at the time when I was in High School. I've got this phone as a second user from my sister who got another more modernized phone. It was in the year 1998 ad I was using Smart. It took me another 3 years to get another hand-me-down phone. Oh, well. That's always my life.

I had a 5110 when I was on 7th grade, it was a brand new phone that my parents gave me, During that time, when you have a cellphone you've brag about it, then came the following month, everybody else had a cellphone. Ahh , I remember the time where suddenly cellphones were everywhere. We also had a motorola phone that was big as a block of wood! Those were the days

My first cellphone way back in 1995 was an OKI analog cellphone. It was actually issued by the company but I paid for the unit (sounds funny). I also have to pay for Smart's monthly bills. And there was no text messaging at that time. KEEP SMILING = NEIL
