Eye glasses or Contact lenses?

I used to just wear eye glasses but I keep breaking them and it also keeps falling off my nose. Plus it also makes me look older, hence I switched to contact lenses. It's still a hassle though when you've been using the computer for a long time or when you're riding a motorcycle or any other fast moving open vehicle.
In the looks department though, you either look the same, or if you know which eye color would best suit you, this could actually enhance your features.
I heard there's this laser treatment that restores your 20/20 vision. But I'm afraid it's not within my budget as of the moment.
Anyway, I'm just wondering here what my fellow "four-eyed" mylot members are using... :)

I don't really like wearing eyeglasses and I think contact lenses are just too much of a hassle. Even if I don't have 20-20 vision I prefer not to wear anything. At least not unless I'm suffering from unbearable and/or frequent headache. In those rare moments, I put on my eyeglasses .

Hi Rychelle, I must admit I'm vain. When my dad brought me to fit my first pair of glasses, I hated wearing it, though I can't see far without it. My glasses made me look like a granny, bookworm....whatever.
Later when I started college, I bought my first pair of contacts, and have been wearing lenses eversince. It's more convenient during sports, and of course, makes me look better. I've heard of laser treatment, but don't think I'd go for it. It's still pricey right now, and I fear of losing my sight, if anything should go wrong (of course, nothing will go wrong - I'm just scared! )

I know what you mean. A lot of people says I look better with my contacts rather than my old glasses, so even though it's a bit of a pain to remember lubricating them every now and then, I still use it most of the time. I still use my glasses though. But only at night or as soon as I open my pc at home. :)
Thanks for sharing. :)
